The Barry Cullen Chevrolet story starts back in the late 1950s. Barry Cullen worked part-time for a Toronto car dealer while he was playing in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs. After a long career in the NHL along side his brothers Brian Cullen and Raymond Cullen, Barry retired in 1960 and worked full-time in the automobile business. In 1969 Barry purchased the Chevrolet Cadillac dealership in Guelph and renamed it Bary Cullen Chevrolet Oldsmobile Cadillac. The original location was on Wellington St, but in 1979 the dealership moved to it's current location.
